FTSE 250 movers: Cineworld, Aston Martin pace fallers

(Sharecast News) - London's second-tier index ended the last session of the week down by 0.48% at 17,284.75, amid profit-taking on light trading volumes on the back of the 4 July holiday in the States.
Cineworld was at the bottom of the pile, weighed down by reports out overnight of a record number of Covid-19 cases in the US state of Florida and concerns about the near-term progression of the pandemic in the States more generally.
The day before, Florida had registered 10,000 new cases - a spike that exceeded the single-day tally of every European nation at the height of the pandemic, while across the US the number of cases surpassed the 50,000 mark for the first time.
Aston Martin Lagonda was close behind, after analysts at Deutsche Bank cut their target price for the shares ahead of its next quarterly update on 29 July.
Meggitt was another top faller, caught in the downdraft of a sharp drop in Rolls Royce's share price after the engineer confirmed press speculation that it was reviewing "a range of options" to strengthen its balance sheet further and to better position the company to take advantage of the expected recovery.
Analysts at JP Morgan did raise their target price for the stock from 265.0p to 285.0p, but the latter remained below where the shares were already trading.
