eEnergy secures largest-ever single contract

(Sharecast News) - Salisbury-based firm eEnergy has scored its largest-ever single contract.
eEnergy said on Monday that its subsidiary, eLight UK, had secured a £1.0m contract to install LED Lighting at four schools for a UK multi-academy trust.

The AIM-listed group stated that revenues associated with the contract would be recognised as the projects were installed.

eEnergy expects the projects to be completed by 31 December and highlighted that the deal had helped underpin the board's expectations of being able to achieve breakeven profit after tax for the second half of the 2020 calendar year.

Chief executive Harvey Sinclair said: "We are delighted to have secured our largest contract win to date.

"In addition to the strong momentum experienced in the first quarter, this new contract further underpins the board's revenue expectations for the full year to 30 June 2021 and reinforces our position as the leading provider to the UK education sector."

As of 1350 GMT, eEnergy shares were up 7.77% at 10.40p.
