FTSE 250 movers: Gold miners rise; AO World falls

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 250 was up 2% at 19,716.24 in afternoon trade on Tuesday.
Gold miners Hochschild Mining and Centamin both rallied as gold prices rose.
Elsewhere, cinema chain Cineworld and pub group Mitchells & Butlers gained amid optimism about a Covid-19 vaccine.
On the downside, online electricals retailer AO World - which has benefited from Covid-related restrictions and lockdowns - was in the red.
