Director dealings: Safestore CEO ups stake

(Sharecast News) - Safestore Holdings revealed on Monday that chief executive Frederic Vecchioli had acquired 13,681 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed self-storage company.
Vecchioli, who founded Safestore's French business in 1998, purchased the shares on Thursday at an average price of 808.46p each, for a total value of £110,605.42.
Back in January, Safestore said despite the challenges of operating within the Covid-19 pandemic and the effects of various lockdowns, it performed "robustly" in the 2020 financial year, with group revenue up 6.9% to £162.3m.
Like-for-like group revenue for the year ended 31 October was up 3.4%, with the UK improving 3.3% and Paris rising 3.8%, while underlying earnings were 7.4% firmer at constant exchange rates at £93.9m and statutory operating profit came to £212.2m.
As of 1620 GMT, Safestore shares were down 0.12% at 805.0p.
