(Sharecast News) - Airbus delivered over 70 airplanes in June bringing it within just a whisker of the 300 mark for the first half of 2021.
Between January and May, Airbus handed over a total of 220 jets, marking a jump of 38% when compared with the same period of 2020, which was heavily affected by coronavirus lockdowns from late March.
Adding June's numbers to its prior year-to-date total left Airbus' deliveries for the first six months of the year at 290.
Boosting the company's deliveries in June was a bumper purchase from United Airlines Holdings.
Airbus was set to publish audited figures on 8 July.
