(Sharecast News) - Lifestyle group Joules revealed on Monday that Jonathon Brown had been tapped to take over as chief executive officer, with effect from 30 September.
Brown, who previously held the same role at Compare the Market, will take over from outgoing CEO Nick Jones, whose departure from the group was announced back in May.
Chairman Ian Filby said: "The board was in unanimous agreement that, amongst some very high calibre candidates, Jonathan was the standout choice to be our new CEO.
"He has significant experience across the retail and digital industries, a proven track record of delivering business transformation, and the vision and ambition to lead Joules through the next stages of its development. The board has every confidence in him, and we look forward to working closely together over the coming years."
As of 0830 BST, Joules shares were up 0.19% at 42.08p.
