(Sharecast News) - Hospitality operator Various Eateries announced the appointment of James Darwent to the board as a director on Friday, with immediate effect.
The AIM-traded firm, which operates the Coppa Club and Tavolino brands, had previously announced that Oli Williams was stepping down from his role as chief financial officer and a director.
He was being replaced by Darwent as CFO on an interim basis.
Various Eateries said Darwent had been working alongside Williams since joining the company on 26 September, to ensure a smooth transition.
"James has over 15 years' experience working in private equity backed businesses and has previously held roles at Big Table Group and Casual Dining Group as finance director," the board said in its statement, confirming that both of those were non-board positions.
"Prior to this, he held the role of global head of finance at All Saints Retail.
"James qualified as a certified accountant at Pannell Kerr Forster, now BDO, in 1992."
