(Sharecast News) - In-content advertising company Mirriad Advertising has partnered with virtualised broadband and video delivery solutions provider Harmonic in an effort to boost broadcasters' ability to target audiences.
Mirriad Advertising said the agreement brings together "two market-leading technologies", with the partnership also meaning its virtual product placement insertion technology will be integrated with Harmonic's VOS 360 software-as-a-service.
Chief executive Stephan Beringer said: "This partnership is another step forward on our programmatic path and it gives Harmonic's broad client roster of broadcasters and video service providers the ability to benefit from targeting viewers with our in-content ads dynamically, at scale.
"Harmonic's VOS360 SaaS is a market-leading solution that provides agility, resiliency, security, scalability, and server-side ad insertion for superior viewing experiences."
As of 0840 BST, Mirriad shares had tumbled 34.48% to 0.95p.
