Live Company announces new dinosaur-themed LEGO show

(Sharecast News) - Live Company announced on Friday that 'Bricklive Brickosaurs', a brand new LEGO brick touring show built by model-building company Bright Brights, would make its worldwide debut at Marwell Zoo from April to September next year, before touring around Europe.
The AIM-traded entertainment firm said the first zoo in mainland Europe had already been signed for the summer of 2020, with the tour to be incorporated within the group's 'Bricklive Touring' brand extension.

It said Brickosaurs, comprised of 50 dinosaur models, would invite crowds to take a trip "back in time" to see the reptiles that once walked the Earth.

Featured models would include velociraptors, dimetrodons, a pteranodon and more, and combined they were estimated to be made from more than two million bricks.

The centrepiece of the new show would be a gigantic, life-sized adolescent tyrannosaurus rex - the largest ever created for a touring brick show.

Live company said the tyrannosaurus, along with a host of other giant dinosaurs, were currently in production, and would be revealed at Marwell Zoo for the first time.

The mainland Europe zoo would also feature an interactive element dubbed 'Feed the Raptors', to be a Brickosaurs first.

"Producing a tour replicating dinosaurs has always been a clear goal of the company and the fact that Brickosaurs has already been signed to two zoos before it is even finished being built demonstrates the potential for this new tour," said Live Company executive chairman David Ciclitira.

"The new injection of content will take Bricklive to the next step and will enable the Company to expand and grow into new markets and new venues."
