Mobile Streams strikes deal on fourth Indian billing connection

(Sharecast News) - Mobile Streams has inked a deal with Indian state-owned telecommunications outfit BSNL regarding a direct billing connection to more than 100m customers.
The AIM-listed firm, which provides online entertainment content in emerging markets, already distributes downloadable and online versions of its games store through its Indian subsidiary, Mobile Streams India.

Mobile Streams' newest deal represents the fourth billing connection in India, with the firm highlighting the opportunity presented to it by the agreement in terms of growing its active subscriber base.

Chief executive Simon Buckingham, said: "We welcome the opportunity to partner with India's longest established communication service provider.

"The mobile games industry in India has great potential and we are pleased to connect with BSNL's 100m subscribers."

Mobile Streams later told investors that there was no certainty the agreement would have an "immediate material impact" on revenues after shares took off in early trade.
