Director dealings: City Pub Group boss buys at 200-day moving average

(Sharecast News) - City Pub chief, Clive Watson, added to his holdings in the firm, right as the stock peeped above its 200-day moving average following the release of the company's latest trading statement.
Watson picked-up 40,000 shares at 209p a pop on Wednesday for a total transaction amount of roughly £83,600, the company said.
In a trading update, the AIM-listed firm's management said earnings were in-line with expectations and provided further details to markets on its acquisition pipeline.
Commenting on the update, analysts at Berenberg said they believed the company "can create substantial value" from both its development assets and future purchases over the next few years, predicting that 2019 would be "another transformational year".
Shares of the roughly £122.0m market cap outfit finished the session right up against their 200-day moving average, having finished the day in the green on higher-than-usual trading volumes, albeit having left a couple of 'bullish' gaps behind on the way back up from their December 2018 lows.
