Director dealings: Chemring director buys in near 52-week lows

(Sharecast News) - Carl-Peter Forster, a non-executive director at Chemring, bought into the shares even as they hit a fresh 52-week low in the wake of the company's full-year figures.
On 17 January, he purchased 10,000 shares at 164.6p apiece for a total transaction amount of £16,460, the company said in a statement.

That same day, the defence and security specialist posted a 3% drop in full-year revenues to £297m, for a statutory loss before tax of -£22m, which was down on the prior year figure of -£7.0m.

On an underlying basis however, profits before tax were up by 25% to £25m and the full-year dividend payout as hiked by 10% to 3.3p.
