Zinc Media wins another factual commission with new client

(Sharecast News) - Zinc Media announced on Monday that its specialist factual unit, Blakeway Productions, has been commissioned to make a four 60-minute part, blue chip natural history series for Blue Ant Media's 'Love Nature 4K' platform, in association with the European culture channel 'Arte'.
The AIM-traded firm described Love Nature 4K as a Blue Ant Media and Smithsonian Network joint venture, and a new global customer for the group.
It said the series would be made by Blakeway's new Bristol production office, and would build on its emerging wildlife film making business.
Additionally, the commission marked further progress in the group's expansion into international markets, the board noted.
"This commission marks a significant step forward in the group's international ambitions," said Zinc Media chief executive officer David Galan.
"It is also testament to the success that Lucy Van Beek, managing director of the specialist factual unit, is having in building the unit into a best in class producer of blue chip natural history content, with a market for this content not only domestically but in global markets."
