Amiad Water names Avishay Afriat as next CFO

(Sharecast News) - Water treatment and filtration outfit Amiad has elevated Avishay Afriat to the role of chief financial officer and vice president of finance, effective immediately.
Amiad said Afriat, who is the company's global controller of finance and finance manager for the EMEA region, had been "instrumental" in establishing the company's current financial infrastructure and reporting procedures as well as being responsible for managing its budget process.
Chief executive Dori Ivzori said: "We are pleased that Avishay will be taking on the role of Amiad CFO. For almost 10 years, he has held a senior position in our finance team and has been instrumental in establishing the budgeting and reporting procedures that we have in place today.
"We will benefit from his extensive experience of working with our subsidiaries around the globe as well as supporting our requirements as a public company, which will enable us to remain wholly focused on growing our business."
As of 1000 GMT, Amiad shares had picked up 2.17% to 165p.
