Strix names Harry Kyriacou as new chief commercial officer

(Sharecast News) - Kettle safety controls designer Strix Group tapped former Glen Dimplex sales director Harry Kyriacou to take over as chief commercial officer on Wednesday.
Kyriacou was appointed to the board to support the overall company strategy and will now be responsible for Strix's commercial proposition, positioning the group for further global growth and development.
He will be based in the Isle of Man at the company's head office.
Chief executive Mark Bartlett said: "Harry has a wealth of strategic international experience, having worked as director of sales, marketing and strategic planning, in both traditional and eCommerce landscapes with companies such as Philips, Whirlpool and, more recently, Glen Dimplex.
"His guidance, experience and input will be extremely valuable for Strix, especially as we continue to develop our diversified product portfolio which provides the group with continued access to all global markets."
As of 1150 BST, Strix shares had picked up 0.92% to 153p.
