Starcom pipeline grows as group progresses 'as planned'

(Sharecast News) - Wireless solutions developer Starcom told investors at its annual general meeting on Monday that it had progressed "as planned", with trading in its current financial year growing in line with market expectations.
Chief executive Avi Hartmann and chairman Michael Rosenberg said they were "confident" that the revenue and underlying earnings growth expected in 2019 would be achieved as its pipeline of new opportunities gradually translated into increased orders in the second half of the year.

They also also said the group was seeing increased interest in its "newer, more unique and higher margin products" across its Tetis and the Kylos range.

The AIM-listed group also highlighted that its pipeline included opportunities for Lokies, its new Internet-of-Things, which had presented Starcom with an opportunity to "radically" widen the market and enable "major revenue growth in the future".

Starcom said its current level of pipeline activity was "significantly higher" than it had seen in the past and, having recently strengthened its board and advisory team, the group believed it was "on the right track" to meet its growth targets for its current and future years.

As of 0840 BST, Starcom shares had picked up 1.69% to 1.50p.
