(Sharecast News) - Digital music solutions group 7digital shares shot up on Tuesday after the group said it has appointed eMusic.com president Tamir Koch to the role of chairman with immediate effect.
Koch, who most recently led eMusic's blockchain project, will take over from interim chair Mark Foster, who will return to his position of non-executive director.
The AIM-listed company also appointed David Lazarus, an "industrialist and international entrepreneur", to the board as a non-executive director.
Chief executive John Aalbers said: "We are very pleased to welcome both Tamir and David to the board. They each bring valuable experience that will help the company work towards delivering on 7digital's vision and executing our new company strategy."
At 1010 BST, 7digital shares were up 69.15% to 0.22p.
