FTSE 100 movers: 3i Group retreats; Coca-Cola HBC bubbles higher again

(Sharecast News) - London's FTSE 100 was down 0.3% at 7,327.08 in afternoon trade on Thursday.
Private equity firm 3i Group fell as it posted a 10% total return for the first half of the year but said it had maintained its "cautious" positioning on new investment.
Sales, marketing and support services company DCC was knocked lower by a downgrade at Exane BNP Paribas, while Sainsbury's and GlaxoSmithKline were weaker as their stock went ex-dividend.
Going the other way, Coca-Cola HBC - which bottles Coca-Cola products - was on the rise for the second day running following well-received third-quarter results on Wednesday.
Burberry rallied after the luxury fashion brand posted a jump in interim profit and revenue and backed its full-year guidance despite "considerable" disruptions in Hong Kong. Investors also welcomed news that the company had entered into an exclusive partnership with Chinese technology company Tencent to develop "social retail" in China.
National Grid gained after its first-half pre-tax profit came in ahead of analyst expectations.
