TSB customers suffer payment delays

(Sharecast News) - TSB has been hit by another IT failure, leaving many customers unable to receive their monthly paychecks and other payments into their accounts.
The bank apologised and said that those affected would be able to obtain emergency cash at branches or over the phone, although customers were also complaining about long call wait times.
A flood of customers said on Twitter that they would be switching banks after the latest fiasco. TSB also suffered IT failures that hit 1.9m customers in April 2018.
"It's getting ridiculous now. Unable to login to internet banking and now wages haven't gone in. Completely unacceptable!," tweeted one customer.
Another added: "I will be seeking compensation for this TSB, I urge everyone else affected to as well. I'm now stressing about the bills that are not gonna be paid today!"
The total number of customers that had been impacted by the lender's latest technical snafu and when it would be fixed remained unclear.
