WANdisco secures $1m extension to Chinese contract

(Sharecast News) - Live data company WANdisco said it had signed a $1m extension to an existing contract with an unnamed Chinese customer.
WANdisco's new contract will extend further the use of its Fusion technology across the client's enterprise and said it believes further room for growth with the customer remained as the business continues to grow at speed and prioritise data.

The AIM-listed group said the mystery customer was a leading global provider of information and communications technology infrastructure and smart devices.

Chief executive David Richards said: "China is a growth market for WANdisco as data use in the region continues to expands at pace.

"Our blue-chip customer base is seeing real value from our software and we are proud to partner with these leading companies across the globe to enable the next generation of cloud technology."

As of 0950 GMT, WANdisco shares were up 1.24% at 412.05p.
