Cenkos operating 'as normal' amid Covid-19 pandemic

(Sharecast News) - British securities business Cenkos said on Friday that it was still "operating as normal" as staff continued working from home amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cenkos said it had added one new client in the past week, with a number of fundraisings completed in March expected to be followed by more in the weeks to come.

The AIM-listed firm said it would continue to take action to reduce costs and minimise the financial impact of the uncertainty caused by the outbreak.

Cenkos, which delayed the release of its full-year results at the request of the Financial Conduct Authority and the Financial Reporting Council, said it would continue to work closely with its corporate clients to assess the impact of Covid-19 and the disruption that many were experiencing.

"Our aim is to support all corporate and institutional clients during these unprecedented times and where possible assist our corporate clients in protecting their businesses and continuing to implement their strategies," said Cenkos.

As of 1105 BST, Cenkos shares had shot up 11.39% to 44p.
