Mirada sees no significant revenue from Covid-19

(Sharecast News) - TV broadcast software group Mirada said on Thursday it did not expect any significant impact on full year revenues from the Covid-19 crisis.

Mirada said it had moved all its staff to home working several days ahead of the lockdown in all the countries in which it operates to minimise disruption.

The AIM-listed group said the potential impact of Covid-19 said while there had been "a substantial increase" in the consumption of broadband and audio-visual services, it was still too early to assess the impact of the outbreak on revenues in the 2021 financial year.

Chief executive Jose Luis Vazquez said: "We are very pleased that the business continuity systems we put in place several years ago have enabled Mirada to fully transition to a remote working environment with minimal impact on our operations.

"We are also able to continue to provide the same high levels of service our customers have come to expect from us. In addition, we are encouraged by the actions being taken by our clients to support their customers in these uncertain times."

As of 1015 BST, Mirada shares had sunk 17.65% to 70p.
