AFC Energy plans return to offices as H-Power enquiries grow

(Sharecast News) - Hydrogen power technology group AFC Energy said on Tuesday that it was forging ahead with plans to get its staff back into their offices by the end of the month as commercial enquiries for its H-Power system grow.
AFC said its science, engineering and manufacturing teams had witnessed no slowdown on the back of the Covid-19 outbreak and were now actively working on new project development opportunities.

The AIM-listed group said it had seen a rise in commercial enquiries for its H-Power system, driven predominantly by growing public awareness associated with an improvement in air quality and a reduction in pollution seen as a direct consequence of Downing Street's efforts to stem both the local and global effects of the coronavirus.

"We are seeing a strong Government and industrial commitment towards large scale stimulus packages where fiscal commitment to green energy, air quality, pollution reduction and EV charging will further enhance new commercial opportunities for AFC Energy across its stated key markets," said AFC.

As of 1040 BST, AFC shares were up 5.47% at 15.24p.
