Cohort inks contract extension with UK Strategic Command

(Sharecast News) - Technology group Cohort has scored a contract extension with UK Strategic Command for the provision of joint command and staff training.
Cohort said on Wednesday that the contract, awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, MASS Consultants, was valued in excess of £11m - spread evenly over two years, with a further three one-year options.
The AIM-listed firm stated that work on the contract would commence immediately to ensure continuity of service.
Chief executive Andy Thomis said: "The confirmation that we will continue to provide joint command and staff training for UK Strategic Command speaks to the continued quality of service provided by the team at MASS.
"Together with other recent wins across the group, this contract contributes to enhanced visibility of future group revenues."
As of 1015 BST, Cohort shares were up 4.74% at 597p.
