John Laing CFO Germinario quits

(Sharecast News) - John Laing is looking for a new chief financial officer following the departure of Luciana Germinario after 15 months in the job.
The infrastructure investment group said Germinario had stood down as CFO with immediate effect and would leave after a short handover. She took up the job in May 2019.

John Laing said Stuart Colvin, group financial controller, would help lead the finance function and that it was in advanced talks with Patrick O'D Bourke, whom she replaced as CFO, to return as an interim adviser.

"The company values Luciana's contribution to the business, but Luciana has concluded, in agreement with the board, that now is the right time for her to stand down," John Laing said.

Germinario is leaving three months after the appointment of Ben Loomes as John Laing's chief executive. The company said on Monday its current trading and outlook were in line with existing guidance.

"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Luciana Germinario for her contribution during her time with us and we wish her well for the future," Chairman Will Samuel said. "We look forward to providing a further update on the company's progress at our interim results announcement in August."
