Tertiary upbeat on extensions to North Ruth silver

(Sharecast News) - Tertiary Minerals updated the market on its Pyramid silver-gold Project in Nevada on Thursday, where analytical results from its recently-completed second phase trenching had extended the strike and width of recently-discovered silver mineralisation at North Ruth.
The AIM-traded firm said silver and gold mineralisation had now been shown to extend over a strike extent of at least 530 metres.

It said Trench 1-EXT, an extension to trench 1, revealed a zone width of up to 59 metres, with grades as high as 595 grams of silver and 0.66 grams of gold per tonne intersected.

"The results reported today from Pyramid highlight a significant zone of silver mineralisation with a target strike length of at least 530 metres," said managing director Patrick Cullen.

"We have also delineated a zone up to 50 metres thick at surface, with some high-grade silver results and significant complementary gold.

"North Ruth is an attractive drill target and we look forward to reporting further progress on this exciting discovery."

At 1601 BST, shares in Tertiary Minerals were up 1.8% at 0.26p.
