Genuit appoints Spectris executive Joe Vorih as CEO

(Sharecast News) - Plastic pipe maker Genuit has appointed Joe Vorih as its new chief executive officer with effect from early next year, succeeding Martin Payne.
Vorih will join Genuit from Spectris, where he has been president of HBK, a standalone division and key platform business within the group, since January 2019, having joined the company in 2016. Prior to that, he worked for US-based Clarcor Corporation, which delivers filtration solutions and Danaher Corporation, also a US-listed global business in industrial, test and medical equipment.

Chairman Ron Marsh said: "Joe is a highly experienced senior executive with a strong track record. Joe brings extensive operational leadership and strategic expertise in the manufacturing and technology industries, and I am confident he will take Genuit Group forward to the next stage of its growth and development."

Genuit - formerly Polypipe - had announced in May that Martin Payne would be stepping down as CEO and leaving the group in the early half of 2022, after leading the business for five years.
