Wednesday preview: JOLTS job survey, Berkeley Group Holdings in focus

(Sharecast News) - The economic calendar for Wednesday is quite light.
Nevertheless, a survey on the US jobs market may help to shed a little bit of more light on the true state of the labour market following the mixed non-farm payrolls report published on 3 December.
The Department of Labor will publish its JOLTS labour market survey at 1500 GMT.
In the euro area meanwhile, the main data release of the session will be German foreign trade figures for the month of October.
No major economic releases are scheduled in the UK.
Further afield, in India, rate-setters in New Delhi are set to meet to decide on interest rates.
On the corporate side of things meanwhile, Berkeley Group Holdings will post its first half numbers.
UBS analyst Gregor Kuglitsch is forecasting sales of £1.28bn and profits before tax of £294m.
Earnings per share meanwhile are seen coming in at 198.0p, just shy of consensus for 204.0p.
Cash due on forward sales meanwhile was pegged to come in at £1.8bn, against the company's own guidance for £1.7bn, while period-end net cash was seen at £875m.
