Director dealings: Diageo chairman spends £0.9m, Chaarat chair's firm buys more shares

(Sharecast News) - Diageo's chairman splashed more than £0.9m on shares in the company on Thursday, according to a company disclosure.
The distilling giant said chair Javier Ferran had bought 25,000 shares in a transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
He spent 3,665p on each share, valuing the purchase at a total of £916,250.04.
Chaarat Gold was once again in the buyers' list, as a company controlled by its chairman made another series of share purchases.
The firm said Labro Investments Limited - indirectly majority-owned by Chaarat chair Martin Andersson - bought 437,807 shares at 19.3p for a total of £84,496.75.
It also purchased 162,615 shares at 19p in a second transaction, for £30,895.84, and in the third disclosed transaction it purchased 29,044 shares, also at 19p, for £5,518.36.
After those purchases, Labro Investments now held 305,773,799 shares in Chaarat, or 44.34% of its issued share capital, with Labro and Andersson holding a combined 312,743,391 shares, or 45.35% of its issued capital.
The Bermuda-domiciled Labro Investments Limited was one of hundreds of thousands of entities identified in the Paradise Papers leak as being linked to controversial Bermudan law firm Appleby, though Martin Andersson was not identified in those leaks.
