Tuesday preview: NATO summit, US home price data in focus

(Sharecast News) - Investors' focus on Tuesday will be on the start of the NATO summit in Madrid and the associated news-flow coming out of the Spanish capital.
Against the backdrop of rising mortgage interest rates, the US Federal Housing Finance Agency and Standard&Poor's are both due to publish house price figures for April.

Worth noting, San Francisco Fed boss, Mary Daly, will deliver a speech at 1730 BST.

In the euro area, French and German consumer confidence survey results covering June and July are scheduled for release before the open of London markets.

No major economic data are due to be published in the UK.
