MJ Hudson delays interim results as 2022 audit issues continue

(Sharecast News) - Financial service provider MJ Hudson announced on Friday that it would not be able to release its interim results for the six months ended 31 December by the deadline of 31 March.
The AIM-traded firm's announcement followed a statement it made on 12 December, when it disclosed certain issues involving the audit for the year ended 31 June 2022.
As a result, the company suspended trading of its shares on AIM, and said that it did not expect to complete that audit by 31 December - the deadline under the AIM rules.
Since then, the board said it had been working with advisers to sell some of its assets.
The group's shares remained suspended, and the company had been unable to publish its interim results due to the ongoing issues related to the audit.
"It remains unlikely that the company will be in a position to finalise the audit and publication of its 2022 annual report and accounts and its interim results in the near future," the board said on Friday.
