"I have worked closely with David and I am very grateful for his drive and determination which has helped to deliver the transformational growth the Property Franchise Group has achieved over the past four years."
Samples added that he was "delighted" to welcome Dodds to the board.
"Ben brings with him a wealth of experience.
"In his first three months with us, he has demonstrated an outstanding level of energy and enthusiasm coupled with real perceptive insight into the exciting challenges the group faces.
"I am very much looking forward to working with him as we deliver the next growth phase of our journey."
