(Sharecast News) - AI platform operator Cordel Group said on Monday that it has secured a new contract with Network Rail to deliver a package of enhancements to its ongoing Railway Gauging Data Solution.
Cordel said that based on the requirements from over 600 RGDS users within Network Rail and its customers and suppliers, the group was able to recommend an efficient approach to the urgent need to procure, curate, store and manage historical data, while building in additional functionality.
The AIM-listed group also said it will deliver a package of user-efficiency improvements, based on re-engineering user interfaces and processes throughout the data supply and utilization chain, and provide updates to maintain alignment with new standards.
Chief executive John Davis said, "Cordel is committed to supporting the current and emerging needs of all our customers. In addition to our ongoing continuous improvement of our global products, we are happy to flex our resources to create innovative and cost-effective enhancements for Network Rail and our other railway customers."
As of 1040 GMT, Cordel shares were up 3.58% at 7.38p.
