(Sharecast News) - On Wednesday, investors will eye first-half results from Experian, Fuller, Smith & Turner and Motorpoint, and a trading update from housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.
As far as credit-checking firm Experian is concerned, UBS said is forecasting an 8% jump in organic growth.
"We note strong recent peer results (e.g. sequential improvement for Equifax USIS to +11% from Q2 +9%, and Transunion USIS solid at +7%), while other credit market indicators have been broadly stable (slightly improving in UK, stable in US, small deteriorating in Latam)," it said.
The bank expects group adjusted EBITA margins to be up 60 basis points year-on-year in the first half, tracking slightly above guidance range due to mix, and so overall forecasts revenue of $4.07bn versus consensus $4.04bn and adjusted EBITA of $.115bn, versus consensus of $1.14bn.
UBS also expects adjusted pre-tax profit of $1.06bn, versus consensus of $1.05bn.
In terms of the outlook, UBS said it sees scope for Experian to point towards the "upper end" of its +6-8% organic growth guidance range for FY26.
"We would also look for any commentary on the recent announcements in credit score pricing from all three major credit bureaux following FICO's announcement of a 'Direct License Program'," the bank said.
In Europe, quarterly results are due from Infineon Technologies, RWE, E.On and German pharmaceutical and biotech firm Bayer.
Across the pond, quarterly number are due from Cisco Systems and Flutter Entertainment.
