The construction materials business produces aggregates, primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel, which are used to build roads and non-residential properties. Vulcan Chemicals produces basic industrial chemicals, including chlorine, hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, potassium chemicals and chlorinated organics, for a range of markets.
