CSX Transportation is the largest railroad in the eastern United States and operates a network of more than 23,000 route miles across 23 states, the District of Columbia and two Canadian provinces. CSX Intermodal offers freight transportation services to a wide range of industries, including car manufacturers, steel fabricators, food and grain shippers, concrete makers. Revenues for 2003 fell slightly to $7.79bn.
