DRI Overview

Orlando-based, Darden Restaurants, is a casual dining restaurant company, which owns and operates over 1,300 Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Smokey Bones, and Seasons 52 restaurants in 49 US states and Canada. The Company also licensed 33 Red Lobster restaurants to an unaffiliated Japanese corporation that operates the restaurants under an Area Development and Franchise Agreement in Japan. Annual sales for the year ended 25 May 2003 reached $4.7bn.
