Ball Corp Overview

In March 2004, Ball Corporation acquired Ball Western Can Company, a joint venture, established in 2000, between Ball and ConAgra Grocery Products Company. The deal makes Ball the second largest provider of metal food cans in North America and one of the world's leading suppliers of metal and plastic packaging to the beverage and food industries. Packaging accounts for almost 90% of Ball’s total sales.
