BSX Overview

Boston Scientific is a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices. The company’s products, technologies and services are used by medical professionals across a wide range of medical specialties, advancing the practice of less-invasive medicine and providing alternatives to surgery. During 2002, around 68% of the group’s net sales were derived from its Cardiovascular business. Founded in the late 1960s, the group now employs approximately 15,000 people.
