Middlefield Canadian Income PCC is a closed-ended investment company. The Company's closed-ended cell is Middlefield Canadian Income - GBP PC (the Fund). The Fund's investment objective is to provide shareholders with a high level of dividends, as well as capital growth over the longer term. The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of equity income securities. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in the securities of companies and real estate investment trusts (REITs) domiciled in Canada and the United States that the investment manager believes to provide an attractive level of distributions together with the prospect for capital growth. The Fund invests in various sectors, including financials, real estate, utilities, pipelines, energy, information technology, materials, healthcare, communication services, consumer staples, consumer discretionary and industrials.
