View on Past Performance

It is no surprise that the UK stockmarket has decided to take a breather. The FTSE All Share Index rose a mere 2.5% while the FTSE Small Cap index fell by 1.1% confirming that the previous small company bull market has concluded its course. The Fund has produced another satisfactory performance with a 7.3% increase in the bid price of the income units.

Future Expectations

Rapid rises in raw materials costs now threaten margins and cloud the short-term outlook for profitability. Even so interesting new opportunities continue to present themselves.
