JBH Overview

The business was established in 1974 by Mr. John Barbuto (JB), trading from a single store in East Keilor, Victoria. The business was purchased in July 2000 by private equity bankers and senior management with the aim of taking the successful model nationally. The company was floated on the Australian Stock Exchange in October 2003. The company’s product line has expanded to encompass consumer electronics, computer games, CDs, DVDs, white goods, cooking appliances and air-conditioning.
