LONDON (ShareCast) - Pubs group Mitchells and Butler reports its full year figures, with analysts at Peel Hunt not expecting 'any major surprises'.

Nor does it expect any fireworks in terms of strategy, despite a new Chief Executive Officer at the helm.

Analyst Nicolas Batram has pencilled in sales of £1.89bn, with pre-tax profits coming in at £165.8m.

As the rain deluges the country Severn Trent Water updates the market on its interim results.

Analyst Tina Cook at Charles Stanley is forecasting a 4% increase in revenues to £920m, driven by the regulated water business.

Challenging market conditions at SVT Services (with risk of further deterioration) and higher costs at SVT Water are expected to result in pre-tax profit coming in broadly flat at £157m.

Cook sees dividend per share rising 8% to 30.3p, which looks impressive but is in line with the current policy of 3% real growth per annum to 2015.

Back over at Peel Hunt, John Stevenson is predicting Topps Tiles will report fourth quarter like-for-like to be up 3.7% year-on-year against weak comparatives.

"We expect current trade over Q1 to date to show positive year-on-year growth, although much slower than Q4," he noted.
