LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - GoldStone Resources announced on Friday that both the mining operating permit and the water use permit for the Homase South pit at the Akrokeri-Homease Gold Project had now been awarded.
The AIM-traded firm said it now had all key permits required to progress developments at the pit.
"We thank the Minerals Commission, Water Resources Commission of Ghana and all involved for the approval of our permits," said chief executive officer Emma Priestley.
"With these approvals in place, there is clear demonstration of continued support for the project development from the Ghana government.
"We are delighted with the granting of these permits which allows the Homase South Project, to advance with its development phase."
At 1509 GMT, shares in GoldStone Resources were down 0.42% at 11.85p.
