LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Three directors of Caledonia Investments upped their stake in the FTSE 250 resident on Tuesday.
A family trust, of which William Wyatt and Charles Cayzer are trustees, acquired 2,000 ordinary shares in Caledonia at an average price of 2,953.78p, for a total value of £59,075.60.

Another trust, this time in the name of Charles Cayzer, Jamie Cayzer-Colvin and Wyatt, purchased 1,000 ordinary shares for a total of £29,537.80.

Caledonia Investments agreed to terms to acquire a minority stake in independently-owned family office Stonehage Fleming Family & Partners earlier in the month.

The firm said Stonehage Fleming was formed in 2015 through the merger of Stonehage Group and Fleming Family & Partners.

It is the largest family office in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, and the second largest non-bank provider of family office services globally - a market which Caledonia said was estimated to be growing at around 9% per annum, driven by the rising demand of ultra-high net worth families for assistance in the organisation of their wealth.

As of 1625 GMT, Caledonia shares had dipped just 0.02% to 2,964.40p.
