Jefferies downgrades Big Yellow and PRS in REIT sector review

(Sharecast News) - Jefferies on Tuesday announced a number of ratings changes to its coverage of the UK real estate investment trust (REIT) sector, downgrading its recommendations for Big Yellow Group and PRS Reit but upgrading its stance on Landsec.

Hammerson raises stake in Southampton's Westquay shopping centre

(Sharecast News) - Property development and investment firm Hammerson has acquired another 50% stake in Southampton shopping centre Westquay for £135.0m, giving it a 100% interest in "a leading retail and leisure destination".
