LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Altyn announced the delivery of equipment at its Sekisovskoye mining operation on Tuesday, reporting that following the agreement with the official dealer of Epiroc in Kazakhstan, it has received the drilling rig 'Boomer T1D' with a capacity of 400 metres per month.
The AIM-traded firm said the equipment would accelerate the horizontal development of the Sekisovskoye deposit, as well as the expansion of the underground transport declines.
That, it said, would improve access to the mining blocks and maintain production growth momentum.
"Further equipment deliveries are scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks, to include a Boomer T1D LHD long-hole production drill and Diamec U4 Smart exploration drill rig," the board said in its statement.
At 1609 BST, shares in Altyn were up 3.44% at 1.5p.
