LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Empresaria has replaced Joost Kreulen as chief executive with Spencer Wreford, who steps up from chief operating officer to run the international recruitment company.
Kreulen will leave at the annual general meeting on 2 May, after six years in charge, to spend less time travelling. He will continue to work for Empresaria as a part-time consultant focused on Germany and Austria.
Wreford joined Empresaria's board in 2010 as finance director and became COO in 2017. Empresaria, which recruits staff for companies in 20 countries, said Wreford was the right person to take over because he understood its operations and culture. It does not plan to appoint a replacement COO.
Tony Martin, Empresaria's chairman, will tell the AGM: "Spencer has worked closely with Joost for the last eight years and as such we expect a smooth transition into the new role."
Kreulen said the AIM-listed company was on track to meet market expectations for 2018. He said: "Now is the time for me to reduce my travel commitments to spend my working time closer to home."
