LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Cloud and managed services specialist Maintel Holdings named Ioan MacRae as chief executive officer on Tuesday, effective from 14 October.
MacRae was previously the managing director for Avaya's UK and Ireland operations and has had "considerable experience" in leading businesses through periods of sustained growth.
When he formally joins the AIM-listed group, Maintel will grant MacRae an option over 100,000 ordinary shares under the company's 2015 Long Term Incentive Plan at market value.
MacRae said: "Having worked with Maintel for many years as a strategic business partner, I am thrilled to be joining such a talented team, and to have the privilege of leading the next stage of the company's journey."
As of 1330 BST, Maintel shares were up 2.78% to 444p.
