LONDON (ShareCast) - (Sharecast News) - Retail promotions group SpaceandPeople said on Friday that it had received ?1m from the government's coronavirus business interruption loan scheme.
The AIM-listed firm said the funding would allow it to trade through the current period of venue closures and ensure that it was in a position to proactively drive new business for its clients as soon as restrictions are eased.
SpaceandPeople had previously stated the funds would grant it "certainty" about the future trading of the business.
As of 1455 BST, SpaceandPeople shares had surged 37.39% to 7.90p.
